i bought a 12 power point from hd that mounts on the right side cover, and is supposed to plug in under the seat or under the fuse box. after checking for an hour, i take it this cant be used on the road king classic?
the acc switch controls a box under the seat right in front of the battery it has a rubbercap under the cap there are 4 small holes they accept duetch connectors youll need a tester one hole is nutruel one is hot one is switched from lights one is on the acc switch. not sure if your kit includes the conectors if not dealer has em for cheep.
is it obvious? yes the kit comes with the plug on it...i looked all over the damn place. i have to go out in the garage and look now...this was bugging me all day. the owners manual shows it under the fuse block.

this is a rkc correct? i think they are different then the others...in front of my battery is a plug, but not the 4 pin square that the 12v adapter has...also, the one under the fuse block does power off and on with the switch, but if i plug anything into it, i get a check engine light. the repair manual shows it as a abs sensor plug.
just went and checked, no plug in front of the battery...so, what does the switch on the left side of my forks operate? there has to be a plug somewhere

Testifer Sorry I misled you I thought you were looking for the accessary plug off the ignition sw. which is the one under the seat The acc.sw. on the left side of your fork terminates in the headlight if I remember right on my 07 RK. The plug under the seat is switched off the ignition and comes off a 15 amp fuse.
