On ebay it's called, Torque Touring Link Chassis Stabilizer. In the listing it says it is made by V-Twin. It is on page 211 of the V-Twin catalog. Looks like the same thing. Ebay number is 370176468188. This is not my listing, I was looking at it too. It is like the TWR Missing link, but less money. Also the link has a ureathane insert to prevent vibration transfer. Anybody out there using this one and care to report on it?

have you actually had the wobble yet?
I have had a wobble in mine since the day I bought it. I found this site because of researching this problem. My bike has been back to the dealer a couple of times last fall. They have adjusted aliment, neck bearings, changed the fork oil, My dealer has been great about trying to find the problem. The brace is one area they don't want to discuss. Bagger Brace has told me to return it if it doesn't help, can't loose cheaper than a new bike.

With prices ranging from sub $200 to just over $400 every pre-09 bike should have a stabilizer. The price point, mounting style, & fit/finish can be left up to personal choice. The improvement in normal riding is more than sufficient to justify the cost. The old whine "haven't had a wobble, so I'll wait till I do" will bite a few on the *** when their first wobble suddenly becomes severe & puts 'em down. Others will wait, then waste time & money tryin' to fix the known problem with tweaks & adjustments. The *fix* is either one of the stabilizers or an '09 bike.

The urethane heim link is an interesting addition. Not entirely necessary, but it might help with the minor vibration changes.

I have the Alloy Art TXR stabilizer on my '07 SG, and it worked as promised. It's adjustable for riding style and preference. The ease of installation helps justify the price tag. No removing of the swingarm pivot bolt, or anything else. Straight bolt on piece.

The guy's that did the tunning suggested I install one. They said the toque may be an issue wile shifting in turns. I took the bike without the stabalizer and hit a corner and shifter out of it. i did notice it to be a bit wabbly. I ordered and installed, hit the same corner wile shifting again. I must say it did eliminate the wabble I have before. The only issue I have is the cost. $375.00 a bit high but i bought it anyway.

Since I don't know, what kind of speeds are we talking about going through sweepers. I've taken some pretty good curves at 60-65 and no wobble at all. Am I just not going fast enough to induce a wobble? by the way, this is a serious question.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but when we talk wobble it doesn't always mean tank slapper. I do not have a stabilizer yet but one of my riding buddies said he installed one on his bike and he could definately tell the difference in how the bike "tracks". Basically he stated that the rear of the bike felt more stable and that now it feels like his bike cuts through roadway imperfections (like grooves in the road) rather than follow the imperfections.
