Anybody using Dynacycle oil? Let's hear all about it.....................link to their web-site below. I don't know enough about oil testing to know if their claims are true or just hype for another oil. Don't mean to offend, but if all you have to add is "I use amsoil and it's the best." Save your breath, so to speak, that phrase is more than worn out on here. This probably belongs in the oil thread, but I am interested in knowing what the touring folks think about it...................patiently waiting replies.
I might be unconventional but I use Mobil Delvac 15/40 in everything that I own, my experience with it in Commercial usage is what I go on. I have a 98 KW with a 3406E engine
that has gear drive cam, water pump and roller lifters along with piston oilers of which all but the water pump are in all twin cams, this engine has over 2.8 M miles and has never undergone major engine work except for the cyl head. The same pistons rings and cyls and crank with only a bearing roll in at 2 M miles, still makes good power although uses a bit of oil. I use a special filtration system and change oil 1 time per year and only add make up oil through the year.
Mobil Delvac is available at all Exxon or Esso dealers and service stations as well as all major truck stops in North America. The service specifications for major diesel oils far exceed that of any other oils. Also the price is very reasonable.
No "semi synthetic" can protect a hot engine as well as a good full synthetic. This is just one more attempt to displace the tried and true synthetics like Amsoil and Redline. In all of the oil comparison test charts I've seen, this product has never appeared on any of them that I can remember.
