I have a 2012 street glide and installed a boom hidden antenna. For the most part it works fine but I'm detecting some static. I didn't remove the original antenna wire and was thinking to reconnecting it and puttig a pigtail connector in the back of the radio and connecting both. My question is since the boom antenna Is powered will this cause any issues and second any ideas where I can find a pigtail to fit the Harley radio. Thanks for ur help

Just thinking....
I just installed th HD hidden antenna. Of course I want to eliminate the CB bantenna too. Tried to keep it in the sidebag, but it just won't stay in easily. I want to keep the ability to use the CB, just in case of a problem on the highway. Anyone find a cheap way to find an alternative short antenna?

Check out the 21 inch antennas at this link. Get better reception than the longer whips
