Default Heated jacket

I was wondering how many watts do I have to play with on my 07 Ultra. I am thinking of getting a heated vest or jacket. Which ever I go with I will need to get the same for my wife. Thanks in advance.

Plenty. Grab your owners manual and take your amps times your volts. Seems like, strictly from memory, mine ('07 RK) is rated at 44 amps and 14.4 volts while cruising. That equals over 600 watts. Don't forget to deduct your headlight, passing lights, and all other running lights and electrical equipment to get a final total, but you should have plenty to run a couple of jackets and even pants if you want.

I run heated gloves and jacket liner, both for me and the wife, and have no problem at all.

Jacket liner, gloves, and over pants PLUS the HD fog lamps.... keep an eye on your voltmeter at long stop lights, I just raise the revs a little to keep it at 14 V
