+1 I went with Pingle steel lowering blocks, I've got over 19,000 mi on them. The ride I cannot tell the diff. Just changed the original rear tire (19,450 mi.) No abnormal wear and everything else looks good. The blocks only change the angle of the shocks by 4 or 5 degrees. I've been thru the dragons tail about as fast as a lowered bagger can and it handled great. I've been using lowering blocks for 45 years on my scoots and never had a problem.
I've got the lowering block as well. Lowered me about 1 1/4 inch in the rear. It's fine, ride the wife all the time on it for 900+ mile trips and around town.
Another Bitchin Baggers satisfied customer. Give them a call and they can make some recommendations on length for you. Great people to work with.

I found a set of 440s for a decent price. They're over $500 new and I can get them for $300 or a little less shipped with 1k miles on them. Deal?? I'm thinking I'll go for that..
I belive it's www.pingelonline.com $132.00 they are machined from solid billet steel really work nice. Do not get aluminum ones! A friend had the threads pull out of an aluminum one.
