Has anyone ever seen an OEM Electra Glide or Road Glide fairing on a Road King? I'm especially curious as to whether these will fit over the stock RK headlight nacelle or not.
Here's one. With a little trimming it fits just fine.

Can it be done, yes. easily. no remember all of your wiring is in the headlight narcel, on the glides it is in the faring. you will have to fabricate the mount. The gages will not be functional unless you buy or fabricate a wiring harness. Do a search on the site you will find that most of us thought about doing that before we decided it was easier and cheaper to buy a detachable
no one asked but if you wanted a fairing on a bike why did ya get the RKC ? should swap for an flhtc or flhtcu ,,,that being said yes the hoppe is a decent one although its quick disconnect ability is questionable but for about 60 bucks you can get some awesome black quality leather and with patience completely cover the entire fairing so it matches the blk leather look of the bike
I looked at the Memphis Shades fairing, but it was more a shell than anything. There is one made by invictamotorsports.com that comes in 3 versions. They are either with cut-outs for 6x9 speaker, two (2) 5" speakers, or a blank inner. I got the blank no hole inner set-up. That way I can put what I want in there.
It comes with Fairing, windhshield, brackets and hardware. They list for $600 on their website, but I got it for $375 on EBAY.
Hi guys, just getting ready to get a fairing soon as well. The only one that I can find that you can leave the small chrome windscreen on the bike is the Wide Open Custom. Any one else find anything other than that?
I did hear that the Wide Open is a nice fairing though. Just like to make sure I am not missing anything.
Thanks, Francis MacKinnon

changing out the flyscreen/riser cover to the original road king type is easy and fairly inexpensive to do. so i wouldn't let that limit my options as far as fairing type goes.

Could not pass up an 07 FLHP with 9000 miles and a 103 for 10 grand. Would you?
