I purchased a used Hoppe Quad from a member on this board. Kinda got shafted but oh well thats the $$ you pay. I do really like the fairing though. The fit is good, and I really enjoy the tunes. It will be hard to go nekid or switch to the windshield. I looked at Hoppe in Daytona and they really have some nice new stuff on their fairing. Sirius waterproof player, speakers etc.... PM me your E address and I can send you a couple pics if you like.
I've seen that Dragonfly one at all the Bike Weeks, it's pretty cool. That dude gets a Kenwood stereo to really thump in a bike man. I was in front of him on Main St. in Daytona and man was he ever loud. Sounded good too. The fit and finish on them seems to be real nice. The Memphis Shades and the Corbin on the other hand seem reral cheap to me. Hoppe and Dead center seem real nice too, and I've never seen the wide open ones.
I put the quadzilla on mine a year ago and haven't taken it off yet. It doesn't lock, but good luck to anyone who tries to pull it off cuz that sucker is a tight fit!
I have no complaints other than I can't control the radio easily when I am cruising-- ***** are too small. But I think that's a common complaint no matter what type of fairing you get.
I bought mine through american motor classics on ebay I think.
I have the quad on my fhpi I bought it from a friend I'm currently doing a speaker upgrade. No matter which fairing you get you can't go wrong its all comes down to how deep your pockets are
I've got the Dead Center. Got it from a member here on the Forum. Absolutely love it. Great Quality, locks, and the Sirius Radio and CD enhance the ride. Another one not mentioned above would be Memphis Shades. Hopefully they all look like the batwing on the FLH....
