Default Powder coating

Here's a random question... I've been debating on whether to Crome or powdercoat black. Has anyone ever powdercoated their front ends, bars, swingarms, etc the same color as the paint on the bike? If so, what do you think, and pics would be great!

my 2 cents: a monochromatic theme looks best in BLACK....in fact, someone just posted pics of a blacked out bagger. Here's the link: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...front-end.html

They're everywhere on here. Tons of guys going to the blacked out look. In fact, word is that HD is coming out the "Night Glide" for 2010... I'm just sayin'... Hey Leo, you there?

That bike definitely looks amazing but the reason I asked is due to the fact that mine is Dark Blue Pearl so I didn't know if it would be too much Blue.

Maybe someone can do a photoshop so you'll see a "test drive" but I was also thinking the same thing (too much BLUE). Can never go wrong with CHROME

A word of caution, pearls and candies are very difficult to match exactly, even with the same paint. If you decide on powder coat I would recommend going with a neutral color like gunmetal grey, silver or black. If you do decide to go monochromatic I would go with paint rather than powder since a painter can keep adding pearl until it matches. You may still see a slight variation in different light though.

I'm not trying to talk you in or out of anything, just throwing out suggestions.
