I have the Clearview 17" recurve on my Road King Custom. The Clearview shield is thicker than the Harley shield and vibrates less. The recurve, I believe, allows you to have a lower shield where you can look over the top and not get too much wind to your head. My shield comes up about to my mouth or a little lower and I only feel a breeze over the top of my head if not wearing a helmet and no buffeting if wearing a half helmet. I have the tinted one which I prefer for looks although the tint is very light.

If you decide to get one call them and ask about "blems". When I called to order mine there was quite a long wait to get it and the guy (I don't remember his name) asked me if I would be interested in a blem at a discount and it could be shipped the next day. I asked about how bad were the blems and he went and checked and told me they had two shields with blems and described the blems. I ordered one where the blem was a "1 inch scratch" on the lower part of the shield under the cross brace. When I received the shield they had a piece of blue tape marking where the blem was and I still had a hard time seeing it. It is not noticeable riding and I have to really bend down and search for it to see it.

I am totally satisfied with this Clearview windshield.

I ordered a fresh one a couple days ago. I did a few searches and there were so many posts about clearview this and other brand that and pro this and con that, I finally just figured that hey, if I spend a hundred bucks on a nice clearview vs. 25 bucks on the one I currently have, I'm 4 times better for the recovery of the economy.

Can't add anything to what's been said already, but here's a picture of the -1" tinted with recurve on my '07 Road King:
