Woweee, I just got my Street Glide back today after the big bore and 255 cam upgrade --- BIG difference in snap and pulling power. I would think the quality of the power is more aggressive because of the way the cam comes in and there's no substitute for cubic inches. After 2000 miles I'll bring it back and have it dyno'd for the cam.
For those of you wondering if this kit makes a difference ---- Hell Yes!
I concur. Put this baby in third and you can feel this thing charge forward. Really glad I paid the extra $$$$ for this upgrade especially before delivery. I did see a slight hard starting the other day after a 15 mile ride. Im going to wait and see after the tune and dyno if it still happens. Just keep an eye out for that. Might be a bigger problem waiting to happen.
BTW,
Does anyone have the directions or list of parts included in the 09 STGII kit? Dealer is telling me that headers dont come in this kit and I want to show him proof they do and get some of my $$ back for losing or "not coming in the kit". I got everything back but them.
Tq,Tq, and more TQ that is a beautiful thing. Glad to hear you like it.
HDowner sounds like you should have had compression releases installed. That would have aliviate(sp?) the problem you are describing. I forgot to push my compression releses in the other day and she was not going to turn over.
Yeah I really enjoy mine also. What used to seem like real tall gears and a useless 6th gear now seems to short cause you can go thru the rpms too fast before you have to shift.
Next time when I am out of warranty though I am doing the hq107
