Try entering your VIN here and I think you will be able to view a wiring diagram

WOW, 14GuineaPig. That is very helpful! Thank you!

Another question for everyone.. I'd like to put taller handlebars on without having to install new cables and lines. Any suggestions as far as height that this is possible, and/or brands of bars?
Thanks in advance

Biketronics sells a kit just for Police bikes that includes everything you need for the radio install. http://www.biketronics.com/standard-...lice-packages/
I have a Sony on my 2009 I got from them and am very happy with it, easy to hear even at high speeds.

My '05 has a 103ci.
Retrofitted, I guess?

Wow the 17 is a lot different then y'alls. It has cruise, no hockey pucks oh and the new 107. I've got an Android Radio in mine. Loving it.

are you sure about the run flats ? Would it say it on the tire if they were ? I have a 12 FLHTP. 2500 miles on it so I am sure my tires are as it came.

Is there a place where I can get some sort of schematics for the wiring to do the install? Can I pick out my own radio or do I need to get something special from HD in order to use the controls installed with the cruise?
Also, any guidance to remove all the useless wires that remain from when the bike was in service as a cop bike? I removed the LH side cover and discovered wires that seem to be empty plugs as well as possibly the radio cable from the service days.
Thanks for any help. I love these forums!
I have the 08 Police manual supplement + wiring manual as a pdf.
PM me with your email and I will send it to you

07 came out with the 103, in 08 they added electronic compression releases due to 07's eating up starters. I bought 2010 FLHTP with 3200 miles in March of 11. Kind of a clean slate to mod as desired. I swapped overlay harnesses and now the only thing cop related is the frame. Run flats ended when they did away with the 16-inch front tires in I think 09.
