Default Fork Oil

I know this has probably been asked before. How often does the fork oil need changed? I can't seem to find any recommendations on it?

The older owner's manuals say every 20k. In about 2005, they raised the recommendation to every 50k.....I'd guess anywhere between 20k and 50k would be just fine...LOL.

I change mine every year. It goes along with changing all fluids.

I change mine at 15K! Take one look at what comes out of the forks at that mileage and I think you will agree.

Thanks to all, got to take it in to change the shifter lever(tranny)and will ask do it then. The mechanic I use, is going to let me repair the lever using his shop, with just parts cost. Again thanks to all.
