What are the differences between the Stock Ultra seat and the Sundowner Seat?
1. Is the riding height the same or lower with the Sundowner?
2. Would I sit more forward or backward than the stock seat?
3. Is comfort on long rides much better?
4. Are the rider and passenger widths different?
5. How do your passengers like the difference between the two?
6. In your experiance, can you ride any further in a day with the sundowner vs the stock seat?
The stock seat on the Ultra is not a Sundowner and replacing it makes a world of difference. Much more comfortable ride for the rider and about the same for passenger.

Any other observations would be helpfull. Thanks.
1. Lower, now I can flat foot it.
2. Appears to be about the same.
3. The same on comfort, wife likes it!
4. Rider is narrower allowing for a better angle, passenger appears to be narrower.
5. Wife says about the same.
6. I can go tank to tank.
I bought mine from a forum member and it was just what I was looking for, I am 5 9" and it put me flat footed without having to do any lowering of the shocks etc. Makes me feel more secure at stops. My 2 cents!
I have one on my EGC, sits lower, a litter narrower so my feet reach to ground better, has gel insert for driver, most comfortable seat I've had on a bagger....
I like it very much....not the same as stock.
The wifes likes it a lot better than the stock seat. It is a little more narrow in between the riders legs, so you can flat foot it. Very happy with ours.
