Default Help Needed

Guys,

I have a FLHRC 08.
Yesterday I installed LED front and back signal lights.
Shortly after I left, the key signal in the speed dial was on.
I parked the bike, turned it off and waited until the alarm system went into action then I operated it again. Same thing happened. Few kilometers down the road, the light went on again.

Does anyone has any suggestions??
I am thinking that if there something wrong with the electrical circuit (like over loading), the key light would go as soon as i turn on the bike and not few kilometers after.

What do you guys think??

It is throwing a code because of the load of the new bulbs.
Did you install a load equalizer?
If not it will throw the code because the led's draw less current
than the regular bulbs.
Look into a badlands load equalizer,
Let us know your progress

Hey Hinzy,

Thanks for the hint.
I did install load equalizers because the leds were flashing very fast when i installed them.

Have you tried taking main fuse out and putting it back in. Don't know if it will help but maybe the system needs resetting.

You need to add the additional load equalizer for the Security Equiped bikes. Kuryakyn makes one.

Just what he said, I had to do the very same thing with mine.

If the bulbs are now flashing normally then clear the codes,
your key light should then disappear.

Thank you Hinzy.
Yes they are working normally. How do I 'clear the codes'?
