Default Floating Rotors?

Who's got 'em and are they worth the extra $$$$.?

I warped my left front and need to replace it. Or buy a couple of floaters to replace both.

Your experience?

I have them, and i can't really tell ya if they are "worth" the price, they are certainly better, but i dont' think i'd replace them "just because they are better" unless i had to get rid of the stockers for some other reason.

Absolutely better, I went with the HD floating rotors when I changed out the wheels.

My '06 SG was one of those that came with the squealing front brake option. The shop here filled the hubs with expanding foam insulation that did nothing more than keep the hubs warmer in the winter. The solution was the optional floating rotors. No more squeal and better brake performance. Go for it - you won't be sorry.

Thanks for the input. I'll pull the wheel this weekend and install floaters.

Think about it, the rotors are aligning themselves and the pressure is on both sides of the rotor!
