Like Rocknrod said, just clean it. After cleaning a little wax might help keep the bugs off and keep it clean longer. Use the least aggresive agent to clean, soap and water, Windex, Cinch works real nice, whatever. Don't need steelwool, polish, compounds etc. unless you screwed something up.
