Default Another positive post for FireCap

The end of last week I got my 6.5 in speakers and a 125 mini amp. I just cleaned up the wires this morning and put the fairing back together. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet due to work and WI weather. I did get to listen to it in the garage. What a difference. the sound is clear and no distortion. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.
I had to make one phone call. And that was just the matter of pushing in a little button. The rings were interesting to figure out. But there was a post on here that was real helpful to put them in. Thanks Wayne.

here are some picts of the ring... i got them too and havent gotten around to doing my review yet, the fit is great... looks like it was "made well"... i will do a full review, when time permits, will be putting a 6.5 on one side and a 5.25 on the other and a full/fair write up... should be cool...

dont know if this speaker will fit in yet, as i was just holding it in place, but looks like it will, even with the huge magnet... gonna do the install on my bike, though, when i get the rest of the equipment i want... Firecap and AaronOregon (541baggers) are great though... they wont do ya wrong

As an Alpine dealer I can tell you the ARC amps are under rated, they will impress you with the range they have and will run neck and neck with the alpine 4X150

As for the title of the thread: Another positive post for Firecap, I agree !! He helped me with some questions I had !!

I'm sure that the ARC mini 125.2 is an AWESOME ap. Not one person has been dis-satisfied. However........................

I can't imagine that a 125.2 mini can hang with the Alpine PDX 4.150, especially being only a 2 channel amp.

I have ZERO knowledge when it comes to car audio, but according to all the specs that I have read, the Alpine seems to be the popular choice of a LOT of installers that aren't pressed for room.

If you need something that fits in the batwing, then I believe that the Arc 125.2 mini is the ONLY choice.

the benefit of the arc is that two of them are small enough to fit in one bag and not take up that much space and that they have fans on them (4 ch.) coupled with the fan system i am installing in the bag, should stay much cooler than the alpine...
