I just picked up an Ultra and the cruise control and the radio are great. I don’t think I could ride a bike without a radio anymore. I know some people will say if your not touring long distances you don’t need a radio. Well when I’m blasting AC/DC Who Made Who on my 8 mile ride to work in the morning it really puts me in a good mood.
Don’t let people mislead you on color either. When it comes to Harleys Vivid Black is the FAST color.

Great news !!!! Picking up a new Vivid Black 06 Road King on Wednesday. Can't wait. Thanks for the input. I am delivering my GL1800 and Bushtec trailer to the buyer today. Once I get it, I am sure I will be back asking more questions; louder exhaust, more power, and lots of chrome !!!

I am thinking about Road King or Ultra Glide Standard. Any suggestions? What is the deal about the 06 motor mounts? I have owned a 99 Roadstar(cool bike), 99 Goldwing 1500 and 2004 Goldwing. I like the way the Road King looks, but wondering how much I will miss Goldwing extra's.

Looks like the rumor is out that HD is building a new Harley called "Ultra Glide Standard" Wonder what it will look like?? LOL -
