The switch has two leads that come off the end. Find the circuit, on your garage door controller's circuit board, that you have to close and solder your wires from the odometer reset switch there.

RE: My $25 remote control garage door opener
I am rewriting this full instruction on “How to rewire the garage door opener” requested by ******.
1. Find an automotive 4 or 5 terminals relay, it can be found in any auto parts store. (see picture 1)
2. Open the case of the Garage door opener, you will find the switch on the circuit board, heat up the solder and remove the switch, put 2 wires on each circuit and resolder them. (see picture 2)
3. Make a slot on the side of the opener case, run the 2 wires through, tag them to the relay terminal 30 and 87.
4. Ground relay terminal 85 to the chassis or good ground.
5. Run the last wire from terminal 86 to your source, it could be a momemtary switch, high beam switch or horn switch, in my case, I wired it to my horn switch.
6. Test operation, remove the battery side cover, I mounted the opener on the left side of the battery above the battery positive cable, the relay sits below the positive cable, I used azip tie to secure them.
Hope the instruction is clear. Alex
