I ordered a set from Ron Ayers $212 shipped to CA. Should be here Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait, hopefully there as good as everyone is saying.

The stock tires on the 08 FLHX are:
Front MT90B16 72H
Rear MU85B16 77H
http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...=to&model=flhx

What size tires are we talking about on the Elite 3?
And no clearance issues on the rear belt?

Glad you've got the feeling! Hoping any posts I had about these as a must-do upgrade played a part in your decision. Regardless, you'll love 'em as much after 5000 miles as you do after the first 5.

I'm wondering abt clearence too , the 140 is 5.6" wide and the 160 is 6.4" wide .. .8" is a lot inside the rear fender and I was wondering abt the belt as well .. Have ta get the tape out and see ..

Still more than half the tread at 11k is great , best I ever did on the rear with the 402 is abt 13k , and it was skeery around 11k ..

Prolly gonna stick with the 140 here , hate to buy the tire then have an issue ..

The 160 fits fine. 5K on them and mysteriously they have not grown.

The End.

I need a tire edu-macation.
I dont understand the 160 thing.
I see MT90HB16 and MU90HB16 in elite 3, I even see 160/80B16 but I dont see anything that matches my bike.
Sup wit dat?
