I have an 08 SG. Could you please post the exact Elite 3 tire sizes you are using, front and rear?

What pressure do you run in the E3s? I just got some but haven't installed them yet. I run 38 front and 40 rear in the stock Dunlops.

Default Great Advice...

I visited my local stealership needing new shoes and bubba behind the counter says, "You should go with replacement factory tires, we have them in stock." Hum, best recommendation or an easy way to make a quick sale?

What could I say, I needed new shoes for a long ride and I needed 'em quick. (Rear tire wouldn't have made the trip) Next time I'm planning ahead and listening to the wise recommendations of you guys.

Thanks

I'm finding this is one of the "intangible" values of this website... I can't keep track of the guys I run into who have no clue about upgrades, options, alternative set-up's for their bike -- all because they have no clue about this website. Yeah, I've benefitted from the advice (good and bad) from other members, so all I can do is contribute when I find something I like (or disdain). I have a 08 Street Glide as my user name shows and I'll be needing new rubber soon. I think this thread just made up my mind. was also thinking of the Michelin commanders.

here's where I've bought tires in the past and their prices were hard to beat a few years ago.

quick shipping and they sell a lot of tires so you won't be getting one that's been on the shelf for years.
