I replaced the "Wind Deflector" on my 2006 Street Glide with a Clearview and was finally able to take it for a spin. Took the day off work and road for just ofer 3 hours. Just got back. This is one fine windshield. I am 6 foot tall and went with the 8 inch recurve.
The wind no longer hits me dead in the eyes and the noice difference is unbelievable. I can cruize at 70 and hear the radio with no problems. I live in farmland so there is plenty of 2 lanes with no traffic. I got it up to 90 for a stretch and the shield did not move or flex at all. This is a quality product and retails for under $100.
The ride was so much more enjoyable. I did not expect this much difference.
Kudos to Clearview.
Plus one... I've got the 8" with recurve on my 09 SG. That POS stock shield came off after about thirty miles, I'm to old for cool. Function works best for me, I still think my bike is pretty cool with the new shield and other comfort upgrades I made for me and mama.
