Multi Bike Owner?
I just posted this over in the Dyna Glide Model forum...perhaps someone over here has some acces for information for me too?
Thought I'd visit the Dyna Glide Model forum...I usually reside in the Touring forum. I've offered to help a friend of mine who falls into the "returning rider" classification. He has found 1987 FXLR 10th Anniversary Edition with 5200 (yes, hundred) miles. Obviously it's been more of a garage queen than anything else but its lazy days are about to change. It is way past time for a full service which is where I enter the picture. It starts and runs and everything is "there" except for info...seller couldn't find even the owners manual. I have several shop manuals but none for this model but I have ordered one. Problem is, I'll probably be doing the major part of the service before the shop manual arrives and need but a few answers if y'all would be so kind...if anyone could look in their manual for me...I need axle nut torque for front and rear axles, and the front fork oil capacity (both amounts = changing and "dry" - I might get lucky and the dry forks simply means they're not leaking instead of empty!) and the recommended belt deflection with the tension tool and if that deflection is when loaded or unloaded. Thanks a bunch, I'll return the favor.
