Primary auto chain adjuster
Just installed the auto chain adjuster while replacing a seal. I now notice a whining coming from the primary. Has anyone else installed one of these and is this normal or is something set to tight. I have everything adjusted according to instructions that came with it.

Yep, just went through this. The dealer installed mine and I took it right back for whining. They said it was normla until it wears in. After doing research, I found others with the same thing. Some will also tell you it's too tight. Since I'm still under warranty and the dealer put it in and I get along great with everyone at this dealership, I will believe what they say.
I have about 300 miles on mine and it's hardly noticeable now.
