been wearing my HJC "IS 33" for about 2 months now. by far the best 3/4 I have worn including my nolan. it's light, vents well and has a double visor and unlike the nolan the smoke visor stores in the hetmet so it doesn't act like a airfoil at night..check out the video on the helmet at www.helmetharbor.com
Thanks for all the suggestions! After looking at them I think Im leaning towards the HJC AC-3 carbon, saw it online for $269 (much cheaper than $399 from HD). I really like the flip down sunvisor on the IS-33 but was kind of looking for something without a face shield (could always take off the clear shield I guess) and it isnt Snell rated but the price is great at $130. The FS-3 is about the same price and does have both Snell and DOT cert's and has a visor instead of face shield so that might at least be worth checking out. Do the shields rattle, vibrate or act like a sail at all? Think I may go by one of the metric dealers today and see if they have any of these helmets that I can try on for size.

My SUOMY is the best helemt I have ever worn. Motorcycle Superstore had them for a great price a few months ago. Very light and the shield drops enough to avoid buffeting.
