Default BUB 7's?

How do they sound? too loud? not loud enough? tone? I really like the way they look and I want to go true duals w/o the x-over.
been looking for someone with them here locally at our thursday night bike nights but haven't seen any....which makes them even more desireable. I can be unique!

Mine have a deep, throaty tone that sounds perfect to me. They are not too loud, but when you get a handful of throttle they really come to life.

They cooled the bike down tremendously by getting rid of the crossover pipe, and I love the "stereo" sound coming out the back.

I have had a LOT of people listen to them and comment on how great they sound. If you are not looking for glass shattering loud, but want something that sounds great with a deep, thumping tone you will not be disappointed. And like you said, not everyone and their brother have them on their bike either!

I have V&H dresser duals with BUB 7 slip ons. Very deep rumble and angry when you get on it! The great thing is when cruising at higher speeds they are very mellow. I flat out love these pipes! Get lots of compliments on how my bikes sounds everywhere I go.

All that he said plus excellent workmanship and quality. Good product, great sound at cruise speed and bark loud when you twist the grip

I put these on my new RK last year and just love them. I've explained once before on this forum that knowing how good they sound is a tough call. Unless you let someone drive your bike while your behind them, you'll never know exactly how they sound. I've had many complimants on mine and a I second what the others said. At idle, it's completely tolerable and doesn't wake up the neighbors, but get on it and it's perfect.

I have them on my 09 FLHX and love em. Like the others said, not too loud until you twist the throttle. Then they bark nicely.
