narrowing hd drivers back rest

narrowing hd drivers back rest
Has anyone ever tried to take a stock hd drivers back rest and cut it down. I have the standard size hd drivers back rest and want to lower it about 2" and narrow it about 4". Anyone have a smaller one and want to trade for a larger one?

I had a local shop modify mine when the wife told me tht the backrest ges, or she stops riding with me. Had the bottom cut in, so her legs would slide under the rest better. Works great, and looks good.
HD should have thought about the passenger when they designed these things...
