A friendly back off wave usually works for me. It is drivers weaving through traffic while yapping on their cell phone that **** me off.

I usually slow down, gives me more of a cushion for a sudden stop, decreases the chance of rear end collision. If they don't like it they can go around. At the next light move ahead of the car in front of you. Leaves the offender tailgating them.

Gotta be careful, lot of crazies out there with guns, and sometimes the smallest things set them off. I usually if I've got a clear show in my lane just leave their *** stting there trying to keep up. I can handle myself but sometimes it's better to just ride on.

I had a lady in a SUV run me off the road the other day headed back to work after lunch. I braked, honked, yelled some choice words and flipped her the bird. Then proceeded to follow her all the way back to my work parking lot. Turned out it was my boss's, boss's, boss. Oops!

I have heard glass marbles are the best to use in this situation. Of course, you have to be traveling at a decent speed for any "ammo" to have the desired effect. Has anyone actually used the flying debris method? And, if so, what happened? I'm just curious.

I would say that you were kinda lucky. Been on a scoot its easy to skip around and get one car in front of you. I understand though because I have been known to be a hot head at time, but that comes with conqueses(sp). If someone gets off there bike and approaches my vehicle like they want trouble they likely will get shot.

So...the penny bounces off the tailgating vehicle, then hits and causes damage to two or three other vehicles that were not involved whatsoever?
