I droped the FatBoy I had while moving it in the garage, it didn't go all the way down though as my new car at the time caught it.

Glad your OK. Almost happened to me once. Don't know how I managed to keep the bike up. Since then, what I do when driving at very slow speed in a parking or whatever, I just rest my foot on the rear break pedal and make sure all of my fingers are on the throttle. I mean all of them. That way if I have to brake fast, I know my foot is there and it will automaticaly push the pedal before I even think of using the front brake. This technic later proofed to be very good. For me at least.

If you get hold of a copy of a RIDE LIKE A PRO video, and practice the techniques, you will be a lot better prepared for an event like that.

Glad you and your bike are OK.

Did the same thing on my RK in Sturgis years ago. SUV pulled out right in front of me, when I was pulling out of a parking lot. No damage to mine either.

Had a VTX 1800 for less than a week, every time I stoped , it wanted to lay down. Had enough fun so I paid the selling dealer a goodly sum to take it away from me. No problems with HD's though.
