I keep hearing black is the fastest color. I think it should really ship faster than say red. Also I sure would not let a few marks keep me from riding. Hope it all works out for you.
Meeting with Progressive adjustor at dealership today.Bike is safe to ride except
for bent engine guard on right side(crushed lower slighty)Dealer says they wont start work till they have all parts, what i dont get is why cant they install engine guard so i can ride, heck I will pay for labor to put it on the rack an get it done so i can ride ,who knows when painted parts will arrive...any suggestions would help
They can get you an engine guard for your bike in 3 days. Just have them install it for you or do it yourself. There is no reason why you can't have it changed out if you're not worried about having it included in the insurance settlement.
Glad you weren't hurt. Sounds like your dealer thinks your bike is in jail. Like TheBagger said: put on a new crashbar and ride your bike until the rest of the stuff comes in (or ride it without). That dealer isn't very accomodating and you should let them know it. Makes no difference whether they fix it all at once or a little at a time.
