On Saturday I was cruising along and had a vehicle turn left in front of me .Had to lock brakes and eventually went down.Normal scrapes and bruises but ok. Dealership says about 8 to 12 weeks on new fairing ,is this normal or just CYA .I dont want to wait until mid summer to ride again....Any suggestions ????? Jeff
Tape up the fairing if needed and go ahead and ride.
It depends on when they are painting your color.
My painted parts too 12 weeks, then another 12 because for the tourpac had to be reordered. BTW Black Pearl is still a current production color.
Meeting with Progressive adjustor at dealership today.Bike is safe to ride except
for bent engine guard on right side(crushed lower slighty)Dealer says they wont start work till they have all parts, what i dont get is why cant they install engine guard so i can ride, heck I will pay for labor to put it on the rack an get it done so i can ride ,who knows when painted parts will arrive...any suggestions would help
