I bought a new Sundowner touring seat (HD # 52093-08) for my 2008 UC. After less than 200 miles I could tell I like the stock seat better as it seems to give me some lower back support. Has anyone bought a Sundowner, not liked it and found another seat they like? If so, which seat. I am reading good reviews on Mustang seats. I realize just because one person does not like a certain seat does not mean the next person will or won't. However, I can't afford to keep buying seats just to see if I like the feel and if not selling them at a loss. Thanks for all advice.
I don't know what His reason was, but the good Lord made our rear ends defective from the factory. The good majority of them come new with a crack and a hole in them. They come in every size imaginable. Trying to find one seat that suits them all is a daunting task, at best. The Corbin seat that I find comfortable, some find as hard as a rock. When I switch over to my Mustang, it's initially much more comfortable, but only on shorter rides. Sadly, the only way to find the "perfect" seat for you, is to spend the time in the saddle with different seats. Sorry. Good luck in your quest.

Anyone looking for a Sundowner seat?
A friend of mine is considering one. How much shipped to Florida ? You can PM me.
Befroe you spend another $200.00-500.00 I would at least give Mean City a call. They are a sponsor oo the board. the sundowner on my streat glide was shave, gel pads and also filled in in the back. So I do not slide back.
The other alternative that I just did with the stock seat on my Road King. I found a upholstery shop near home that did custom rods. They shave and filled in the seat custom and since they where close to home I could go back and forth for the small adjustments.
Been down many different roads, finally went with Corbin Dual Tour, my search is over.
+1 for the Corbin Dual Tour. I've been using one for about a year now, and I wouldn't switch to anything else.
Max56 said it best. Everyone is different. Many riders might find the Corbin to be too hard, but I find that's exactly the quality that gives it the support one needs for less fatigue on a longer trip. When you use a softer seat, the padding often gets squashed out of place and that causes discomfort in the long run.
