Need better map for 2008 ultra 103
I need a new map for my 2008 Ultra with a 103 kit and 255 cams, V&H true duals and a set of ovals. I downloaded the 2 maps from Dinojet that match my set up and they both work OK but not perfect. I don't know the map that my dealer used when they put together my 103 set up but it was too lean and it sucked too much air. The only good thing about that map was that I was getting 42 MPG. I took the bike to my INDY to get custom map. He is the best tuner in the area and he got the bike running great but now I get 34 -36 MPG. I would like to be able to get 38 to 42 MPG. Please help. I went back to a can map downloaded from Dinojet and I got 41 MPG riding two up. The custom map makes the bike a lot more fun. So I am torn between getting good gas mileage or the pleasure of riding a more fun machine.
It looks like I'm going to settle for more fun and go back to the custom map. I can always go back to a leaner map when I take a long trip.
