I wanted some grips that would match my bike and bars, i couldnt find any grips for the 2008 with the spike at end, so i was gonna settle for pm grips (all black)... a member turned me on to the Avon grips, so i bit, may change them later if someone comes out with an all metal black anodized with a spike at the end, but until then,,, the addiction to buying things not needed continues...

Yep, just installed my Avon Custom Contour Grips in anodized black on Friday. 2nd set I've purchased.
1/2 the cost of the PM grips and from a feet away, you can't tell the difference.
