Adjustable backback installation-'09 Ultra
I think I installed the adjustable backrest wrong. It adjusts forward all the way to the rider seat actually touches the rider front seat when I pull on the latch but it doesnt go back. In its regular position it is too far forward in the rider seat. In fact, it is too far forward. I followed the instructions, Is it because the latch piece (which the actual backrest unit slides into ) is not placed properly on the unit which attaches to the frame? I cant seem to adjust the latch piece or the actual bolt on the back part of the unit down the grove towards the rear fender, to position the latch piece back so the backrest sits more vertical.. does this make sense?.
So..stupid question but isnt the backrest also supposed to adjust backward to some degree towards the rear of the bike for some riding comfort?
