Thx Groupw. Your da man! The green thing to the right of my bike is a Stanley storage shelf that my army unit was fixing to throw away, so I rescued it, hehe. The shelf on the right side in the back, me and my guys built that in Taji Iraq 2007, he had that in his CHU for his TV and X box, now its a storage shelf with their signatures and date built, so I can remember good times with them. Tool box is on the left side of the bike and not in the picture. Yeah, good times dodging mortars with my troops, I would not trade for the WORLD!!!

That's just what I call them.
Kitchen sink? Now I have to decide where it needs to go on my priority list. Somewhere after highway pegs but before the leather fringes on my floor boards i think.

Back in 1933 when my Dad came to El Lay from New York City on his 32 Indian Scout, that
had leather saddle bags and a nap sack tied on to the back seat, "He Had A Bagger". When
my friend Ron bough his brand new 1974 FLH with all the options & lights, "He Had A Full
Dressed Hog". Now I think that if it comes with Saddle Bags & no Tourpack it is a Bagger.
So Dressers must come from the Factory with Saddle Bags & a Tourpack. IMO

You know when this Thread started a lot of people were losing their jobs, and
the housing market was in the tank. A lot of folks sat around their computers
on this forum and needed something to talk about. Motorcycles sat on dealers
showroom floors, the same about Cars & Pickup Trucks. Back in 33 my Dad
had a motorcycle, but no job either, at the age 20 years old. That generation
had to make it happen for them and US, so we to sit here and ask "Dresser Or Bagger".

If you can read this thank a teacher, if you are reading this in English thank a WWII Veteran & all our Veterans.

that pretty much sums it up. I called them dressers growing and even when I first got my SG I called it that for awhile. Then I heard the phrase bagger and been saying it since.

Yeah, who really cares? You can pretty much tell how old you are by what term you use. I have a bagger, not a dresser or whatever. I hate the term "dresser" being used to describe a motorcycle with bags on it, hence I never use it. Sounds stupid. A dresser is a piece of furniture that you store clothes in.

I have always know them as scooters. All bikes are scooters to me. Guess I still have some old school left in me. LOL

All touring bikes are baggers to me.
