I've got a set of the Supertrapps I just took of my Ultra I'll sell you for $150.00. They soung great. Deep and pretty loud when you get on it. I went for the Jackpots with larger baffle to get more volume. P. M. me for more info.

Copper99, This is a good price for some great mufflers. I'm running the 65115-98B's which are the same as these SuperTrapp SE's. Great sound with good performance gains (with SE AC).
But these will be louder than the current '06-'09 HD SE muffs which are under tighter EPA sound guidelines to 80 decebles or less.
thanks for the replies
what all is involved in the stage 1 air intake
If you go from stock and do the stage 1 air intake, if you like the look I would go for the SE Big Sucker which is very easy to install yourself, and also change the pipes you really need to remap the ECM.
I had put on the SE slip-ons on my '07 FLHRC, hated the sound. Ended up going with Rinehart slip-ons. Love the sound. Pipes and the sound they make are a very personal thing so best to go somewhere their are lots of bikes and listen to diffirent ones till you find ones you like.
I installed the SE slip-ons after 2000 miles. I also did the Stage 1 air cleaner. Yes, they are louder than the stock ones but not like open header loud.
With the air cleaner upgrade you’ll notice that the engine is definitely breathing better and there’s minimal exhaust back pressure.
I’d do it again and have no complaints. If you decide to install the SE (or any) slip-ons, use new clamps (P/N 65283-94) and use the proper torque (45-60 ft-lbs). I re-torqued them again after the initial heat up and cool down.
I just had the SC performance tourning mufflers put on my 08 SG. I love them, they are a little louder than stock. They give a real nice low tone and bark when you jump on it. They are plenty loud for me. Good sound and i can hear my radio.
