Assuming that includes parts...it might be a little high but not too bad. I think when I had mine done I had about $500.00 in parts (cams, SE Adjustable pushrods, new lifters and gaskets) and I paid $400.00 labor. I never had to have a dyno tune.

I'm going to agree. Depending on the experience levels of the techs in the shop the labor charges will be plus or minus and hour or so (hopefully in the minus). The parts numbers are about 500-550 depending on parts added. The Dyno is expected with the PC III especially if they don't have the correct download (even then...dyno'ing is a good idea!)...depending on the shop they can charge 200-300 for the dyno alone.
I spent right at $1000 this winter putting in a set of HQ cams including a full SERT dyno tune. So I would say they are just a little high. Of course it's now the busy season so they probably get more this time of the year.
