Wow, great thread! I've never locked mine unless I'm going to be leaving it unattended for a while. I never once thought about it opening while I was riding. I'm going to start locking mine all the time now. Thanks!!!

I always keep mine locked, but a friend of mine had his tour pak lid fly open on his Ultra. He was behind me so I didn't see it happen, but he swears it was closed properly.

Always lock mine,just what i need is to loose(GET STOLEN) any more gear!!!!.Better safe than sorry.Like my mom always told me "Always bring your rubbers even if it dont look like rain, just NEVER know when you will need them" LOL.... R.W.
