I put 1 on my bike 08 st glide took it out for a 140 mile ride on the highway paid 169.00 for took it off and sold it with in 8 hours worst 169.00 I ever spent would not sell in my shop I talked with John at Klock Works and told him what I felt about it last year he told me I would get a 4 inch to try and let him know what I think. Still have not seen it or heard from them since last year.
Now the one for the Road Glide does work very well.
Not the one for the Street Glide/ touring.. go for the Wind Vest it works well with the bat wing. And pay less.......
DRAGO1. Have you seen the National Cycle V Stream? I have the 6.5" HD because the
4" was too uncomfortable. Trying to decide if I can go shorter with the KW or the V Stream.
Klock works is now producing a 10 1/2" screen that is supposed to be very good. Problem is you can't use any windshield bag with it. It's shown on their website now. I'm looking at the recurved Wind Vest currently, and it too has some good reports, but costs less. Cee Baileys is supposed to be very good as well. Lot's of options for windshields.
I've looked at these, but the price drove me away. Then I bought a Cee Bailey's, but after one ride, pulled it off and it is collecting dust in the garage. (Couldn't use the windshield pouches, and wife said the wind hit her right in the eyes.) I recently installed a 10" Wind Vest and, while a bit more expensive than Clearview w/ a recurve, I had it in 7 days and it is great!!! My initial impression is that the wind buffeted the fairing a bit more, due to the recurve at the top of the windshield, but I've grown accustomed to that -- and enjoy the ability to look over the windshield now, and the wind is up and over the top of me and passenger.
Solid product as well, with no flex or vibration. And you can use the windshield pouches. At 6' even, and a 33" inseam, it is the right fit for me.

Sorry i dont know about the national cycle have not used it.
I put the HD 6.5 on mine again and been very happy paid 30.. for on ebay.
I'm running the Klock Werks 6.5. Love the looks and the handling, but I'm 6'4 and need to ware glasses when I ride. I'll have a 10.5 tomorrow. If the weather breaks I post some pics and how it runs out.
I need to replace my shield and have thought about the clearview but, you have to wait 5 weeks to get it. How about the wait on the other products talked about here?
I would suggest going with the V-Stream shield. I'm just over 6' tall and i ride an 09 ultra glide. I tried the 10" dark shield. The shield work really well, very little wind noise or buffeting. . When I rode with that shield it was a fairly windy day(about 25mph gusts) on the highway and it was great. The price wasn't too bad, less the Klock Werks. Plus it has a 3 year warranty.

10" windvest here, love it. Had a Clearview, not any better than stock 12". Windvest, in stock, received in three days.
i took off my clear barn door w/shield that came in my 07 e/glide the 2nd week i had it. cant take looking thru it and seeing 3 stoplites when there is only 1. i installed the flair windshield and can see just over the top and no wind buffeting and it looks great i put on the smoke with my black pearl paint, looks great. only negative is my wife says more wind hits her on the helmet then before, but she is ok with it
