Just installed the new hogtunes hog pod on 06 classic, Wow what an improvement. already had hogtunes front speakers but with dual thunders the wife said she couldnt hear it. Super easy to install, 15-20 minutes if u know how to take fairing off. another quality product from these guys. If you can swallow spending 200 clams on this u wont be dissapointed.

I have the entire Hogtunes set-up installed on my SG. The tweeter pod (hog pod), speaker/amp kit and my bike is louder than I will ever need it!
I got my tweeter pod (hog pod) for $160.00! Who charged you $200.00?

The $160 deal was for HDforums members and you had to mention it at the time of ordering. I have the same setup as you except I've added DynaXorb to the outer fairing behind the speakers, and recently decided to swap my old Gen1 speakers for the new Gen2. Well, without trying to sound negative, I don't hear much difference between them. The Gen1's sounded great and so do the Gen2's, but since I am selling my old speakers for $60 I'm happy.
I got the pods, amp, and the xsorb pads, and I'm very impressed! Sounds great and looks better!!!
Another quality product from the people at Hogtunes... There still arent a lot of them around in my area, I get questions all the time, and people want to know where they can get them.... mine miht stick out a little more than most, since I had the pods and the inner fairing painted to match my Crimson Red Sunglow bike! Great job on these and anyone who is thinking about doing them... I say go for it! Easy install and great product!
I just read that Hogtunes no longer sells the amp by itself. They only sell their amp with their Gen II speakers. You may want to make sure you are actually getting the amp by itself.
I got my tweeter pod, Gen II speakers/amp kit for: $460.00 including shipping. I thought that was a great deal!
my local HD dealer had 2 of them. 189.00 which is what they go for online, didnt feel like waiting for shipping and pulled the trigger, 160 sounds better but $30 difference isnt that big of a deal.
