I've got an '06 FLHT. I was wondering what the best upgrades were for the braking system.
I did a search and saw a couple references to Lyndall Pads. I assume these are good. Anyone running Braided lines on the front?
I'd be glad to hear some options/ opinions.
Thanks
Ya can do some Lyndall pads and/or you can even swap over to the stock Brembos used on 08's and up by doing a few little mods. Money-wise, just doing Lyndalls will show an improvement.
I went with Lydall brake pads front and rear on my '06 FLHTCI last year at about 24K miles. I also put on SS Brake Lines #45212-97B. Great improvement.
Besides the stealer, where can one get the Brembo calipers at a reasonable price? I don't seem to find to many places that have them for my 06 RKC.
Ebay is usually pretty great! I buy alot of chrome off there. also check our own forum for people who have replaced their Brembos with custom calipers!
