I have pretty much decided to get a set of Progressive 412's. I am going to get the heavy duty. My question is what length? I am thinking either 11.5 or 12". I don't do a lot of two-up, but I do at times. I tried a search, but I couldn't find a real straight answer. BTW, my ride is a 09 standard Road King

 

The ride quality really starts to suffer on those short shocks. I had 12 inch Racetech Caddies (for sale $200)on my 09 SG and switched to 13.3 Ohlins. Also selling my stock SG air shocks. They are the shorter air shocks. I forget the inches, but the HD catalogue says. I am asking 50% of cataloge price. BTW, The 13 inch shocks ride great and handle great, but most of my riding is long distance stuff so I don't care if it's a longer reach to the ground

 

I have the 412's 11" HD on my 07 king. I ride solo all the time and I am not light on my feet, the ride is great, no bottoming out on the rear fender and the look is killer.
