Default Big Bore Upgrade

Anybody out there with an 09 that got the big bore kit? I'm looking at the 103" upgrade Harley # 27564-09. It will cost about 2K over a basic stage I. Is it money well spent or is it barely noticible?

Thanks for your input.

There is no replacement for displacement.

I have a 103" and a 110", I'd like to say that I can feel a difference, but it's been so long since I have ridden anything smaller than a 103", I can't remember.

It is a must, you will be able to tell a big difference.

I recommend looking at the 107 set up, you will not pay that much more and have all that much more power. YES YOU WILL FEEL A DIFFERENCE INDEED.

Will you PM me and tell me where I can research the 107 you're talking about? I'm on the verge of going to a 103 myself, and if the 107 produces that much more power without costing that much more, I'd definitely be interested. Anybody got dyno sheets on it, and prices?

I have a Stage II 103" kit and love it. Tons of low end and midrange torque.

I'm just finishing up some side work and will have a bit of change coming and was considering my options as to where to put it on the hog. Performance always outranks chrome. This just confirmed my statement. I will consider doing a punch out myself now.

Tman 107 was $400 more than the 103. It gives you more options down the road, plus it puts you at the top end of what your other stock components can handle. Huge difference over stock, doesn't even feel like the same bike.
