oops! should have read page 5 first. Disregard this post. Phoenix Customs has already posted a rebutal....

Today based on your thread, I talked to Phoenix Customs about the brace and was informed they have a money back guarantee, if you still have it return for a refund.

Their customer support was very up front about the "money back guarantee".

I don't know if i a was experiencing wobble but i think i did and changing my fork oil fixed it for me....I took the same roads in the mountains this past weekend and hit them a lot harder and no wobble.....I am not chancing a few hundred bucks when $10.00 Worth of fork oil fixed it for me....I sure don't want no more vibrations that's for damn sure....Geezer glide works smooth now.....

You gotta love these people that say they feel a vibration on the bike. Hey the motor is rubber mounted for a reason. It does the mabo every time you hit the start button. Does the bike vibrate any more or less with the bagger brace? I might have noticed a little in neutral but who knows. Who cares. There is no way (just my opinion) that running down the road at any speed you can tell if the bike is vibrating more or less. Enough of that.

I spent this last weekend up in the Catskill in NY. My first run in the twisty with the bagger brace. One think that I did notice is that when the bike went over a milled paved areas the bike stayed straight and true. Same goes for small cracks in the road. Before the front would move side to side until you were offf that area. Also since the back of the bike felt connected to the front I had more confidence diving into the turns. To the piont that I was popping up the floorboard on both sides.

....I can see 'em all laufin out loud now at ur local bike night, as Mr. Wild Hog himself (formerly known as JohnFXDB) rolls in while sporting his Rolex, fingerless gloves & chaps.

I just got back from the Dragon, and I beat the living **** out of my Ultra while I was down there. I now need new floorboards, and my jiffy stand makes a strange noise and does a clunking thing when I use it. It certainly doesn't handle like my Ducati, but it did better than I thought.

Bike held up great, held together, and was nice and tight. I'm glad I put the B.Brace on. No complaints; the bike rides like it's on rails. No excessive or additional vibration. If I wanted a bike that ran without vibration I'd buy an electric scooter, drink lattes, complain about greenhouse gases and save whales.

Or buy a BMW motorcycle and start a career as a schoolteacher.

I am the engineer/manufacturer of the Bagger-Brace, I was informed of this thread by another customer and after reading the comments I wonder why if you had an issue you never contacted me? Instead came on a public forum to proclaim its junk. Had you contacted me and were unhappy I would have issued you a refund which you are still welcome to take advantage of and I hope you do.

I will say if you are experiencing the kind of vibration that you have described and it was installed correctly then you very likely have some other issue.

Just to shed some light on the vibration issue as I see it, the reason that very little vibration is transferred to the chassis is because the vibration comes primarily from the rotating assembly ie: crank shaft, rods and pistons, that vibration occurs mostly in a circular motion along the length of the bike, the Bagger-Brace only contains the side to side movement at the rear and the rod ends allow the drivetrain to otherwise move freely just as it did before the Bagger-Brace was installed and lets not forget that there is 2 more links 1 at the front and 1 at the top of the motor doing the same job. Its certainly possible that a small amount of vibration may make its way along ALL of the links to the chassis but it would be very little and in most cases barely detectable.

Steve, I will be looking forward to speaking with you and assure you that even though I wasn’t able to win you over as a customer I stand behind the Bagger-Brace and will gladly buy it back.
In closing I want to say thanks very much to all who have purchased a Bagger-Brace, We have enjoyed serving you and your business is very much appreciated.

Now that is all about customer service.....Well said. 1 bad apple doesn't need to ruin the whole bushel.
