Default Reach Seat

Does anyone have the new Reach seat designed for shorter riders? I am thinking of getting one, but would like some feedback before I purchase.
Pros/Cons, does it really move you closer to the bars and give you a better stance? How comforatble is it? etc., etc, any info would be appreciated.

I have a Reach Seat on My '08 SG. I'm 5'6"...My feet now hit the ground! Moved me about an inch forward. I ride My bike for hundreds of Miles at a time and have no issues with discomfort nor do I get monkey butt! Now...as far as stance...that's on you! your posture is gonna determine the stance you achieve...it does have a bucket effect with minor back support...but your posture will determine the rest!

I think it was a good purchase for me for sure!

Good Luck on your decision, Mike

If you're just looking to get your feet more planted and don't have issues with the distance to the bars, try modifying your current seat. All you need is one of those electric bread knives, some rubber glue and staple gun. Cut off the neck of your seat so you get it narrow near the tank and you've got your feet planted. Practically free if you've got all 3 items.

i got the Reach seat for my UC and I really like it. It moved me forward an 1" and lowered me 1".
The dealer will most generally let you try one on thier lot free of charge. Worth a try?

I've been considering the same. Although I am flat footed on the ground at 5'-10", that's it. It's hard to move bike around, (pushing forward, pulling back) with stock seat. $$$$ a big issue for me to get a fix unless it is really a good move.

I didn't think local dealer might have a sample to try. I will ask.
