I just installed one yesterday. It will not fit under the stock cowbell, but, the metal hanger that is part of the stock hanger works, modified slightly for the Stebel hardware to fit, (made hole slightly larger with drill), it fits great. I bought the chrome version and also purchased the plug and play wire kit, it took 20 min to install, and it is kick *** loud. There will be no missing this Air Horn. 139 Decibels. If want a pic, let me know and I'll snap one and post.

I would like to see it. I want to upgrade to a louder/better horn for safety.
Mine does the same thing and it's only a few months old! Dealer will fix or replace under warrantee but a louder horn is a better idea. Best deal on a real loud one is from Stebel. Chrome one for just over $40. Too bad it won't fit under the oem bell.
I went with the black Stebel Nautilus from a sport touring outfit in California for $32.00 and used a link provided by Dawg to install it. http://twolaneroads.com/horn.html It fits under the OEM horn cow bell better than the picture provided in the link. Compressor is under the seat in front of the battery. Totally incognito.
