it looks like it was cut in half. will check more accurately later. is it normal for mileage to drop after a download?

Maybe 5-10% drop would be normal...

Never rode it without and I have never had a heat problem. Its a little warmer than my 03 RKC was but its a little bigger motor......I rented an 09 ultra in Fl. in feb... total stock and it was hotter.. much warmer than mine... I rode it 650 miles... Key west and back from FT.Myers It had slightly more torque on the very low end, but thats the only thing i liked about it missed my True duals .......This is post 100 should get promoted!!!!1

Well as a comparison I am getting 39 MPG riding the 124 hard. If you cant get in the 40s there is something wrong.

Older bikes like mine don't do quite as well on gas mileage, but with a 2008 you should surely be at least 40+, IMHO. Again, it depends on what you are calling "sucks."
