Blows Taillight Fuse
I am a new Harley owner. I have owned metric bikes since I was 9 y/o. My current problem is an 04 electraglide that is blowing fuses for the taillight. On a very general inspection, I can't find any bare or nicked wires. The taillight assembly appears to be fine, especially as the brake light functions just fine, even after the taillight fuse has blown. With the blown fuse I cannot detect any other systems not functioning.
Where do I even start to diagnose this problem?

A few of us have had this problem over the pass few weeks.. My fix was to take the handel bar clamp off and check the wire bundel that was (In my case) pinched between the bar and the turn switch houseing. Have not had any problems since.

You have to check the entire harness that feeds the tailights...Had the same thing happen to me on my 99 EGS and the problem was a piece of wire was exposed in the fairing from a radio swap...
